But I have. This time by Jordan over at mamablogga. Tag taggity tag tag. 4 Life memeat least that's what I'm calling it.This is another one of the sharing memes. In this one we are asked to share in 4’s. 4’s! What a refreshing change from 10, 8, 7, 6, 5. (Why don’t you ever see a 9 meme? Now that would be different) So to start off, 4 things new to me, to my life, in the last 4 years.My house: Though it isn’t new (nearly 80 years old) it is new to my family. 3 years ago we moved into this house and it changed our lives. Contentment: I’ve been happy for many years now which is a great changed from the up down turn around of my younger years but contentment with myself and my family is something that has really only been with me for the last couple years. Living in this house, being back in the city, watching K as a person and settling into life with my best friend has been liberating. (ohhhh I just love him soo much smoochie smoochie why don’t you marry him I DID mwahhhahahaha) (sorry).My Rebel: When K was really little she was so clingy. So needy. So always up in my shit. In the past 2 years she has become so much more laid back, fun and, you’ve got it, rebellious. It's refreshing to see that spark of independence in her. And to be able to shower with the door shut.My other Rebel: My Canon Rebel. I love my camera. It allows me to capture moments in time with my family and in my city. Most of the photos you see on this site are taken with my little pocket digital camera that never leaves my side, but when it is time for a real picture I turn to my Rebel every time.And now 4 things to strive for in the next (you guessed it) 4 years:No more remodels by 2011: Bathroom finished? Check. Kitchen finished? Check. Other bathroom finished? Checkaroo. Backyard done? Yes siree. Any other work on the house. ALL DONE. Okay?School: How much school? I don’t know. Some though. My first class starts in a week or so. I am just glad I’m getting to it.School again: There are some things Mr. Kaos wants to learn… I think he should.
School take three: There are 3 of us in this household and I think we all have some learning to do. With K starting elementary school this year I look forward to being able to help her do her best. I want her to enjoy school in a way I never did and I will do anything I can to facilitate that.
